ACCOMMODATION OPTIONS
SHADY CAMP
A popular spot for anglers, Shady Camp offers picturesque and tranquil surrounds that are perfect for fishing and relaxing. Surrounded by freshwater billabongs and monsoon forests, this camp provides a range of quality fishing spots and areas to find shy local wildlife.
CRAB CLAW ISLAND RESORT
Stay in style at the Crab Claw Island Resort in elevated cabins nestled amongst the trees and palm gardens. With refreshing swimming pools and an elevated restaurant offering spectacular views, this resort provides the perfect escape from the everyday.
DUNDEE BEACH
As a relaxed coastal town, Dundee Beach offers a unique, tranquil accommodation option. Located close to great fishing spots such as Perron Islands, Point Blaze and Finniss River, this option combines the ideal fishing spot with tropical surrounds.
MINIMINI CREEK SYSTEM
For the keen bird watcher, Minimini Creek is the perfect place to settle in for a few days. With a wide range of flora and fauna often seen here, Minimini Creek is full of life and provides the ideal spot for appreciating native wildlife.
ENDYALGOUT ISLAND FISHING CAMP
A remote fishing destination, this option is far enough away from locally known spots to boast total seclusion (which really means - more fish!). Offering comfortable permanent tents with bedding as well as showers and flush toilets, this small campsite offers the benefits of secluded accommodation with the luxuries of town accommodation.
DALY RIVER
The Daly River is renowned for its vast population of barramundi, as well as annual fishing competitions. Stay in a tent site, caravan site or self-contained unit accommodation, there are a wide range of options available. Read more about the Daly River.
For a full-day fishing trip in Darwin, talk to Dean Jackson. A full-day charter is usually around 8 hours, departing about 5am and docking in at 4pm. Saltwater or freshwater fishing trips are available for bait, fly and lure fishing. Dean recommends bringing breakfast or alternatively he can stop at a local cafe. All other food is provided.
